·        Guy Shennan, The Chair of the British Association of Social Workers, who has been leading BASW’s campaigning against austerity over the past two years, and was one of the organisers of the Boot Out Austerity walk, who walked 100 miles from Birmingham to Liverpool over seven days in April.

·        Ia Shekriladze, LCSW, PhDc, Georgian Association of Social Workers and academic Staff, Institute of Psychology, Ilia State University. Ia is a founder, board member and currently deputy-chairperson of GASW. She has been teaching in two universities of Georgia, and has an extensive experience of working with multiple international and local organizations as a practitioner, researcher, clinician, adviser, regional coordinator and manager.

·        Josien Hofs, board member of the Dutch Association of Social Workers (in Dutch: BPSW – Beroepsvereniging voor Professionals in Social Work), co-developer of the code of ethics for social workers; research into care for undocumented migrants, social benefits and mandatory work activities. Volunteering as philosophy teacher for prisoners in a Penitentiary Institute.

·        Zahra Mesba, 25 year old refugee from Afghanistan who  came to Iceland as a quota refugee from Iran in 2012.

·        Thorey Gudmundsdottir, social worker in Iceland and a member of Hugarafl, an NGO for people with mental health problems.
